We hope you’re enjoying a wonderful summer! As we prepare for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, we want to remind you that it’s time to enroll your student(s) and verify residency.

The enrollment and residency verification process is now open through the Parent Portal. To ensure your child is ready for the first day, please complete all required forms and submit residency documentation by Thursday, August 1.

If you’ve forgotten your Parent Portal username or password, don’t worry! You can recover your login information using the recovery link on the portal, or contact us at bssdpschoolparents@bssd.net for assistance.

We’re getting closer to the start of an exciting new school year, and we can’t wait to welcome our students back! We are thrilled to welcome our incoming Kindergartners to James Walker Elementary for the 2025–2026 school year!

Join us for a special event designed just for our newest Warriors and their families on Thursday, August 14th from 5–6 PM. This exciting evening will give students the chance to meet their teacher, tour the school, drop off supplies, practice getting on and off the bus, and explore key areas like the playground and cafeteria. Families can also join our amazing PTA, purchase JWE spirit wear, add funds to lunch accounts, and connect with our wonderful staff. We can’t wait to meet you and officially welcome you into the Warrior family!

We’re counting down the days until we welcome back our incredible 1st–5th grade students to James Walker Elementary!

Mark your calendars for our Back to School Open House on Thursday, August 14th from 6:30–7:30 PM. This is a great opportunity for students to meet their new teacher, drop off school supplies ahead of the first day, and get a sneak peek at what’s in store for the year.
