Welcome to James Walker Elementary – Home of the Warriors!

We are excited that you’ve chosen James Walker Elementary (JWE), and we’re proud to welcome you to the Warrior family! It is my honor to serve as principal of JWE and to be part of a school community built on strong traditions and a commitment to academic excellence.

We are proud to share that JWE was recently recognized as a Distinguished School by the National ESEA for exceptional student performance and academic growth. In 2019, we were also honored as a National Blue Ribbon School and a Missouri Gold Star School—a reflection of our continued dedication to student achievement. Greatness truly happens here, and we are excited for another outstanding year!
